PAPR REQUIREMENTS
ADMISSION
All applicants must be beyond the age of compulsory school attendance and be physically capable of heavy lifting and manual labor.
Tuition
2019-2020 school year is $7,500(Please note tuition is subject to change). This covers classroom and books, uniform shirts, pens, pencils, highlighters, notebook, one set of ear and eye protecting. Replacement books, materials, and safety equipment will be available for sale. Tuition is due and payable before the program begins. Class Schedule:
When all Training Program admission requirements have been fulfilled, and the data reviewed, the applicant will be scheduled for class. |
PAPR STUDENT POLICIES
Student Conduct
Since students are being prepared for a work environment, they are expected to conduct themselves in a responsible manner and conform to the generally accepted standards of the industry. Unacceptable behavior will result in termination of enrollment. The use of tobacco products, alcohol, or drugs is not permitted on the school grounds. Possession of alcohol, drugs, firearms, or other dangerous materials is grounds for immediate dismal Violence of any nature whatsoever will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to teasing, bullying, harassment of any nature, fighting, etc. Students who engage in this conduct will be immediately dismissed.

Attendance Policy
Attendance at class meetings is essential to academic success. Students are expected to be present and on time every day. Students must have a valid reason to be absent or late. Students must maintain an 90% attendance average. Therefore, if a student misses more than 10 days in a semester the student will be automatically dropped.

Excused Absences
Excused absences are those accepted by the program as legal absences. They are limited to illness, quarantine, death in the immediate family, and court appearances. Absences due to illness that combine to 10 or more days (excused or unexcused) for one school year will require that the student obtain a written excuse from a doctor.

- Periodic written quizzes to measure the student’s progress.
- Weekly hands-on testing to measure student’s progress and ability.
- The program grade will be based on the quizzes and final written test that will be administered at the end of the program.
Ferpa Policy
FERPA gives parents certain rights with respect to their children's education records. These rights transfer to the student when he or she reaches the age of 18 or attends a school beyond the high school level. Students to whom the rights have transferred are "eligible students.
Generally, schools must have written permission from the parent or eligible student in order to release any information from a student's education record. However, FERPA allows schools to disclose those records, without consent, to the following parties or under the following conditions (34 CFR § 99.31):

The unlawful manufacture, distribution, dispensing, possession, or use of a controlled substance is prohibited on all PAPR property; which includes the building, land and vehicles. Anyone found engaging in the above activities will be terminated from the Program or Course. As a condition of enrollment, the student will sign the Enrollment Questionnaire indicating their awareness and acceptance of this policy.
